Weihang Zhu's personal world is colorful.
Weihang is active on the virtual world: Internet. He used to serve as Board Master in several BBSs. He had retired from these positions as he wants to devote more time to study and research. He is using all kinds of online communication software to keep in touch with his friends. With Internet, we are all neighbors. In the Internet, Weihang's favorite search engine is google. He reads Chinese News almost everyday. His communication tools include:

Weihang is also active in the real world. He is currently serving as the President of IEGSA (Industrial Engineering Graduate Student Association). He is also the IE Departmental Ambassador for OISSS (Office of International Students and Scholars). He is active in volunteering. His past volunteer experience includes NC food bank, Habitat for Humanity, Exploris, Service Raleigh, OISSS, etc. This August 2002 he is serving as a small group leader for new student orientation.
Weihang has great interest in sports. He used to play soccer and basketball a lot in middle school and undergraduate career. Now Weihang's interest has shifted to badminton, swimming, and Tai Chi. He has been practicing Tai Chi since 2001. Starting from Simplified Yang Style 24 forms, currently he is practicing Chen Style 83 forms Tai Chi. He also tranlated Tai Chi English articles, which was published in USA, into Chinese articles for <Chen Style Tai Chi Research>.
