  • Graduate Advisor of Industrial Engineering Graduate Program, Lamar University: advise current graduate students and transfer students, admit new student applicants, communicate with prospective students, resolve student conflicts, host student comprehensive exams, prepare documents for student policy and welcome packet, prepare doctoral exam policy
  • SACS coordinator for the graduate programs in the College of Engineering, including Master of Engineering (ME) program, Master of Engineering Science (MES) program and Doctor of Engineering (DE) program.

  • Host Industrial Engineering Open House to high school students: every semester since Fall 2005;

  • Organized a golf ball tournament with ISA (Instrumentation, System and Automation Society) – Beaumont Section, and raised $5,000 for Lamar Industrial Automation and Process Control Initiative, May 2007;
  • Visited Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired and presented Haptic Technology to math teachers as a possible assistive technology;
